Great products rarely come from getting everything right on the first attempt. They are developed through designing, building, testing, learning, and improving.

At Lunzer Engineering, we take a hands-on approach to product development. Digital models become physical prototypes, prototypes are tested under real conditions, and what we learn is used to improve the next iteration.

Our work spans mechanical design, CAD, 3D scanning, rapid prototyping, fabrication, testing, and product refinement—allowing ideas to move quickly between the digital and physical worlds.

Built to Bring Ideas to Life

Lunzer Engineering grew from a simple obsession with making ideas real.

What started with CAD models, 3D printers, mechanical projects, and constant experimentation gradually became something bigger: a way to take an idea through the entire development process instead of stopping at the design.

That mindset still defines the company today.

We believe some of the most valuable engineering happens after the first design is finished—when a part is manufactured, assembled, tested, broken, revised, and built again.

Every project is an opportunity to solve a problem, learn something new, and create something better than the version that came before it.

Engineering Through Iteration

A design can look perfect on a computer and still fail the moment it enters the real world. That is why we believe engineering should be an iterative process. Build early. Test often. Learn from every version. Each prototype creates new information. That information drives the next design, and each design moves the product closer to where it needs to be.

Physical prototypes reveal things that CAD models and simulations alone cannot always show. Building early allows us to evaluate how parts fit together, how a product feels, how it performs, and where the design needs improvement.

A product has to work outside the computer screen. We consider how components will be manufactured, assembled, handled, maintained, and used so that the final design makes sense in the environment it was created for.

The first version does not need to be the final version. Prototyping, testing, and redesign are part of the development process. Every iteration should answer questions, expose weaknesses, and move the product forward.

Finishing a CAD model is not the same as solving the problem. We take responsibility for how the final product performs and approach projects with the goal of creating a successful result—not simply completing an assigned task.

FOUNDER

Graham Lunzer

Lunzer Engineering was founded by Graham Lunzer around a lifelong interest in understanding how things work—and an even stronger desire to build them.

His engineering experience began with personal mechanical projects, CAD design, 3D printing, and fabrication, eventually expanding into competitive robotics, engineering work with REPS VR, and the development of increasingly complex independent products.

As the projects became more ambitious, so did the tools and capabilities behind them. What began as individual engineering projects developed into Lunzer Engineering: a growing product development operation capable of moving ideas from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and physical production.

Graham remains directly involved throughout that process. Rather than approaching design, manufacturing, and testing as separate disciplines, he moves between them continuously—using what happens in the real world to influence what happens next in the design.

Outside engineering, years spent playing quarterback have reinforced many of the same qualities he brings to product development: preparation, communication, adaptability, and responsibility for the outcome.

His approach to engineering is simple:

Take on problems that stretch what you know, learn what the project demands, build the solution, and keep improving it.
